How Is Wool Grease Removed Before Spinning? [Solved]
Spinning wool in the grease will not damage the spinning wheel. If the wool is very greasy, spinners can scour it (soak it in very very hot water without soap) to remove some of the grease while still keeping the water resistant qualities of the yarn.
